In the database table 'tabs' is a field 'HasBeenPublished'. It's always on 1. I like to change this field to 0 when it's not active. Is there an option in the DNN page interface to change the HasBeenPublished status

Issue with Content Managers and Content Editors roles

Started By  John Slater
Hello all, We've been working with the 10.x upgrades and stumbled across a horrifying (for us) discovery. The 10.x upgrades we've been working with are forcing every single page to have edit access to the Content Managers and Content Editors role. This built-in role doesn't allow us to remove those permissions on a single page, nor delete either of these roles. In one case a separate random user was added to each role.  Is the behavior of having those two roles having editing rights on eve...

They are first prompted for terms acceptance: And then prompted to update their profile: All good except the message for 'You must accept out terms to continue' which remains after proceeding from the accept terms page to the update profile page.  How can we remove this message This is the code which is largely the same as...

Reset password does not work when setting a custom login page

Started By  sjones
We have a custom login module that we have set as the custom login page in site settings > site behaviour.  When this is set the link that is sent to users on Reset Password via email does not work. The link is like so: 'http://localhost/dnn/Registration.aspxctl=PasswordReset&resetToken=8ca0a707-dffb-4db7-835e-956f0bd15f15' But results in the browser going to: 'http://localhost/dnn/CMISLogin.aspxTabID=151&ctl=PasswordReset&resetToken=51e62623-faf4-4764-939d-6c4e37d66eb8' and err...

Troubleshooting scheduled task hanging after completion DNN 7.4.2

Started By  Isa
Recently, a task has started to hang around after completion. It is happening just for this task, just in this install, and I don't understand why. Not sure how relevant this will be. The task is scheduled to run every 30 minutes. But it can also be scheduled by another task or database connection timeout via: var schedulingProvider = SchedulingProvider.Instance(); var scheduleItem = schedulingProvider.GetSchedule(typeFullName, null); schedulingProvider.RunScheduleItemNow(scheduleItem, t...

DNN - odd admin interface

Started By  alexismaria
Hi, We have two DNN portals that use 9.13.9 and the other is 9.13.10. One will be decommissioned (9.13.9), the other will be revised using 10.2.2. and a newer module. It is not an emergency, but one of the sites will be live and functioning for another month. I went into the admin area and noticed a very strange interface that isn't really functional. Why did this happen and how can one fix this The file directory is scattered and unusable in many places. Including a screen capture:

Started By  Georgeb1951
Reposting to clarify the issue DNN 10.01.01 default Aperture theme I have added users via the registration process, authorized them, and added 'Registered Users' to the 'Members Area' page and copied permissions to dependent pages. I have also disallowed the everyone role. When I log in to the site as a registered user, the 'Members Area' menu item does not display, and if I access it directly, I get redirected to the access denied page. Here are my settings.
