Correct Sitemap Configuration on DNN 9.6.1?

DNN's directions make it sound like if you have "Use page level based priorities" checked then it will automatically add ALL your pages to the sitemap, based on the navigation structure.

I understand the logic of the priorities and our "Exclude URLs" setting is set to 0.5, however not all the pages are showing up. Do I need to manually set the priority on every page?

Some of the pages (that don't show up) are still set to "Sitemap Priority" --Select --, and naturally, changing that to 0.5 or higher makes them show up.

So my question is, do we really have to do this manually on every page?? DNN doesn't just figure it out? Their directions aren't actually directions. Any advice or best practices would be appreciated!

    thank you!

ETA: "Allow Indexing" IS on, on the pages, also.

This is a bug that was around in a few versions. It is corrected nowadays.
Having said that: all values in the database still have the null value and need correction.
My advice would be to alter that in the db directly

If, when initially building a site, we set the priority to 0.5 (or whatever), will it retain that value for all the rest of the pages that are created? Sort of the way it keeps the selected workflow, etc?
