I have been using DNN for years and like the platform, but when I try to edit a page on my iPad or my iPhone, the edit pencil does not appear on the left side.

How can I make edits on these devices?

Hello Rod:

Thank you for your forum post, and welcome to the community! :)

Unfortunately for you, the editing experience isn't one that is considered to be mobile-friendly. I'm not sure if this will ever happen, to be honest, as it's been something that we've been discussing off and on with various community members for MANY years now.

Until someone with the skills or resources either builds or sponsors the build of doing this, it may never happen. Sorry for the not-so-great news.

(By the way, everyone should know that this is only something that impacts Administrators and Superusers, or those with some amount of page-level editing ability.)

Congrats, your posts are really liked!

One thing that you can do if you're in a rush and need to change something quick and the only option it's your mobile or tablet, you can force the website to show you the "Desktop version", Google Chrome has a checkbox for this, you then will be able to see the pencil button and edit from there (it's stil hard to do but that's an option).

I had used this before but for emergency only when the client needs an urgent update and I'm not near my laptop.

Thanks for the message.  I found the Desktop Version but do not see the left-side pencil!

Can you tell me more about Prompt

Prompt is a CLI that runs inside DNN. See Prompt - The Command Line Interface (CLI) for DNN -- DNN Docs (dnncommunity.org) for detailed information.

Happy DNNing!

Hello Rod:

This video isn't just about Prompt, but rather, about some prompt stuff I built.  Though, it will help you get to know it a bit.  This is a really cool and powerful tool!
