Hello everybody,

I have a very strange problem: files seem to be created/updated abnormally, or maybe it's another problem.

Here are some info in order to describe the problem :

  • I can see there are differences between FTP file datetimes and DNN file datetimes (in File Manager). For example, on the FTP, some files were created AND modified on 05/03/2021, but on DNN, these datetimes are updated nearly everyday, and we can see on DNN that theses same files were created, for example, on 14/04/2021, at approximately 16h15...
  • we can see that indexer found, after 16h00, lots of files to index : it seems that hundreds files have been detected as “new files to index”….but in fact there is no reason to this, because nobody sent files massively…..the files are exactly the same...

Have you ever encountered this problem ?

Any idea ?

Thanks a lot

No I have not noticed this, but 14/04/2021  looks like a user folder, is that correct?

which DNN version are you using?
Did you enable auto-indexing of files?
Did you enable the scheduler job for retrieving files?
Note: FTP might use UTC, while other views might be in local time zone.
