Need help upgrading 7.1.1 to 9.4.4

Started By  Mark V
Hi, we're a small software company that uses DNN to power our 'software as a service' website. But we're not DNN experts, we're only barely competent at administering the website. Those who built the website are long gone, so no one remaining knows how anything was done, or why it was done that way. We're badly overdue for an upgrade, but we've had problems trying to upgrade in the past.  What we really need is a short-term contract with a DNN expert who can show us how to upgrade, who can he...

Cannot login as Host during upgrading from 7.0.3 to 7.4.2

Started By  okuusan703
Hello. I need to upgrade the website that runs DNN 7.0.3 to the latest. Based on this article, I understand that I need to upgrade the website to 7.4.2 first. The website itself is temporarily terminated because it was compromised (all malicious files had already been removed from the server). I found another URL was provided by the hosting company and I'm working on it now. I uploaded all files in the upgrade zip file via FTP and accessed to the site URL. As you know, the Upgrade Wizard page...

Upgrade from 7.0.2

Started By  Stuart
Hi, we want to upgrade several of our sites, some are already at 9.1 but one in particular is still running on 7.0.2. I read a post for an upgrade path as: 8.0.4 9.1.1 9.3.2 9.4 So this was the path we took, step 1 was ok. step2 seemed ok  but as soon as we logged and clicked on the edit button, the site went into a locked edit mode and we lost all the persona bar tools.  Luckily I performed the upgrade on a test server so we were able to roll back..  Does anyone have any ...

9.4 Post Upgrade Issue - Users Panel - stored proc missing - dbo.PersonaBar_GetUsersBySearchTerm missing

Started By  Dave Madison
I've recently upgraded from v9.3.2 to version 9.4 and have had experienced a few issues since the upgrade.  This one here is as follows: When logged in as a superuser and going to the PersonaBar Users panal, the following error is presented: Could not find stored procedure: 'dbo.PersonaBar_GetUsersBySearchTerm' This stored procedure isn't in the database.  I checked the source code and the stored procedure doesn't exist in 9.4.  It did in 9.2.  Sooo, it seems as though the upgrade is u...

Upgrading from 9.0.2 to 9.4.4

Started By  Gil
After upgrading our DNN site from  9.0.2 to 9.4.4, the log file posted the error below. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions - DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Unhandled error loading page. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: No service for type 'DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.IModuleControlPipeline' has been registered. The site comes up properly on initialization; however, on the refresh it shows a 500 internal error. I have been trying to find and implement ideas on h...

Alpha Upgrade?

Started By  Cmis
Hi,  We have upgraded one of our sites to the latest version (9.4.4) from: https://www.dnnsoftware.com/docs/de...sions.html We were under the impression these releases were ready for release but in the browser tab page name we are getting 'Home (Alpha Version: 9.4.4.5)'. Is this an oversight in the release or have we picked a version still in testing If the latter how can we tell if a release in that release table is still in testing Many Thanks,  Scott

Issues after upgrade to 944 - add page/clear cache

Started By  Willem
We upgraded to DNN 944 and have issues with page management and clear cache. https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform/issues/3447 https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform/issues/3446 We also tried a clean install of DNN 944 and also have these issues in a clean install. I assume it is a bug, does anyone else also experience these issues
