9.4 Post Upgrade Issue - Users Panel - stored proc missing - dbo.PersonaBar_GetUsersBySearchTerm missing

Started By  Dave Madison
I've recently upgraded from v9.3.2 to version 9.4 and have had experienced a few issues since the upgrade.  This one here is as follows: When logged in as a superuser and going to the PersonaBar Users panal, the following error is presented: Could not find stored procedure: 'dbo.PersonaBar_GetUsersBySearchTerm' This stored procedure isn't in the database.  I checked the source code and the stored procedure doesn't exist in 9.4.  It did in 9.2.  Sooo, it seems as though the upgrade is u...

Upgrading from 9.0.2 to 9.4.4

Started By  Gil
After upgrading our DNN site from  9.0.2 to 9.4.4, the log file posted the error below. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions - DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Unhandled error loading page. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: No service for type 'DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.IModuleControlPipeline' has been registered. The site comes up properly on initialization; however, on the refresh it shows a 500 internal error. I have been trying to find and implement ideas on h...

Alpha Upgrade?

Started By  Cmis
Hi,  We have upgraded one of our sites to the latest version (9.4.4) from: https://www.dnnsoftware.c...roduct-versions.html We were under the impression these releases were ready for release but in the browser tab page name we are getting 'Home (Alpha Version: 9.4.4.5)'. Is this an oversight in the release or have we picked a version still in testing If the latter how can we tell if a release in that release table is still in testing Many Thanks,  Scott

Started By  willem
We upgraded to DNN 944 and have issues with page management and clear cache. https://github.com/dnnsof...Platform/issues/3447 https://github.com/dnnsof...Platform/issues/3446 We also tried a clean install of DNN 944 and also have these issues in a clean install. I assume it is a bug, does anyone else also experience these issues

Moving Old DNN from IIS 7.5 to 10

Started By  frizby
On January 14th, 2020 the life will run out of my Win Server 2008 R2 that has 10 DNN installations of different versons.  I have been testing a move of a smaller DNN 5 site to the new 2016 IIS 10 using different methods but still cannot get the site to work.  I am NOT changing the database location just moving the DNN.  From articles I have read online, this should be a simple process. It occurred to me that maybe the DNN version is not compatable with the new IIS 10.  Can someone help ident...

Upgrade made simple

Started By  Deleted User
Entry grade question here...  I have a DNN 9.1 installation on MS Azure. Azure isn't backing up the web serevice properly (another little Azure foible), so everything is at risk. The expectation is there  are some issues on 9.1 that 9.3.2 will sort. If I simply overwrite the current installation with the 9.3.2 ugrade from GitHub over ftp, it looks to me like all my user, theme and other settings will be overwritten and lost.  Is that correct  Can I do such a simple thing and not have to s...

Login Module Missing

Started By  Mark Buelsing
This site was at DNN 7.2.2. It has a page with a Account Login module on it and this page is set in site settings as the login page. The page is named 'Login' (changed later) The problem is that, after upgrading to 8.0.4.226 the upgrade wizard logs me out of the site when it is finished. When I visit the login page, the page opens but there is no Account Login module on the page that I can see. The page is empty and white. Therefore  I cannot log in to continue working with the site. I need t...

No EditBar after upgrade from DNN8 to 9.4.1

Started By  Stefan Cullmann
I am finally moving my sites from DNN8 to DNN9.4.1. After deleting some 10 years old and unused stuff, upgrade went through without issues. However, the edit bar is missing on any site, any kind of skin. I can't see any hints in JS console or event log. This has probably already been reported several times, but so far there is probably no solution published. Has anyone an idea where to look for Any extension which might be the cause
