    I am getting an error, in the browser console,  when trying to view a user's profile. Where the profile should display just opens a blank space.

    If I click the error link in the console the profile page will open in a new browser window.

    Blocked loading mixed active content 
    http://www.mysite.com/Adm...le/true/Default.aspx

    The site is using https but I note that the error states http.

    The site is running DNN 9.6.1

    I don't know where to start looking so any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Edit: This happens on the live server but not on dev server. http vs https related ?

      Profile picture has a full url including http:// ??
      Does inspect element not elaborate on what source is using http instead of https? Just the full URL?

        It does Tycho;

        iframe class="edit-profile" seamless="" src="https://www.mysite.com/Admin/UserAccounts/tabid/69/ctl/Edit/mid/409/popUp/true/UserId/13204/editprofile/true/Default.aspx">

         

        The console error shows http:// but the element in question (an iframe) seems to use https.

          Do you have SSL enabled and enforced both in the Site Settings and on that page?

            Declan,

            best (and easiest) thing to do is implementing HSTS. This can be done by a simple outbound rule, that turns every HTTP request into an HTTPS request from the client side.

            Find more information in the session papers of my Security session in Champéry.
