Is it possible to reapply a site template to an existing site?

Background: Client was creating a new site using a saved site template.  Something went wrong.  Is it possible to reapply the template to rebuild the site? There are reasons for not deleting the site and trying again.

I have not tried that, but it sounds risky. If I remember correctly, pages with the same name as those coming in from the template will be overwritten. I realize that is probably what you are attempting to do for the most part. Is that the situation for all the pages? If it were me, I would copy the whole install to another hosting account and get it running and try that operation on the copy. I would also consider preparing the website before applying the template by manually deleting the pages that I know that I want the template to bring in, just as a way of helping the process.

After fixing things -- wrong theme and a bunch of missing Admin pages (DNN 8.0.4 site), one of the pages that needed creating was the Site Wizard page! I could have used that. It will redo a site, and gives a number of choices for dealing with page conflicts.

Doing it manually took less than an hour, probably less than 30 minutes.
