Congrats on posting!

Based on the exceptions you posted, I'd suggest doing the following two things:

  1. Reapply the permissions to the website folder.  The user account that's assigned to the application pool should have full or modify permissions from the root of the website folder and to all other folders.  Make sure that none of the child folders are overriding this permission.
  2. If you're running an antivirus program on the server try turning it off temporarily or ignoring the website folder and then try to duplicate the error again.

That worked!! Turns out, the permissions in the "Virtual Directory" had somehow gotten changed or something. All good now!
    Thank you so much!

New Around Here

Hello everyone, I'm very new on dnn. I'm trying to upload an image form Xile module, but when i upload an image I get this error: "InnerMessage:Xile: Unauthorized user attempted to utilize the file upload. Reference the AllowedRoles property in the documentation.".

This situation happen with a user with a new role. Nevertheless, this doesn't happen when I try upload with a super user (host user),

Perhaps, this error is related with dnn's role.

Can you help me?
thanks in advance

cheers

You're an MVP!

I don't know this module, but when I google it, I find this documentation. The module seems to be quite old, and as you don't say which DNN version you're using, it could be a problem with outdated functions calls or breaking changes.

I would suggest you contact Reflect Media Group for support on their module.

Happy DNNing!
