Upgrade to 9.5.0 Build error

Started By  Cmis
Hi,  I have upgraded my local development environment to 9.5.0 and the site works fine. However when I come to build our solution I get: The type 'PortalModuleBase' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=9.2.1.533. I have gone through every project and checked that the DotNetNuke.dll referenced is the 9.5.0 one in the bin folder. And when I double click the error and go through to the definition of PortalModuleBase, I ...

Error after upgrading to DNN 9.5

Started By  Vicenç Masanas
I did an upgrade from a very old system (DNN 5.x) to DNN 9.5. All seems ok except just a few things: pages, users and recycle bin. On these I get an API call error similar to this one:     http://website/RunningOnF...tPageListsearchKey=     {Message: 'An error has occurred.',…}         Message: 'An error has occurred.'         ExceptionMessage: 'The 'ObjectContent`1' type failed to serialize the response body for content type 'application/json; charset=utf-8'.'         ExceptionTy...

Persona Bar Dissappears After Stepped Upgrade

Started By  eTeacher PRO
We are currently on DNN 9.1.1. we have been testing the upgrade process and can get to 9.3.2 fine. When we then try to go any further, the Persona Bar dissappears. I have read there can be an issue with Newtonsoft.json.dll. We have version 12 in the bin folder and the binding is set in web.config. But still no joy. Does anyone have any suggestions Thanks, Michael

Can't edit certain pages on DNN site after upgrade to 9.01.01

Started By  PamR
Hello, We recently upgraded one of our client sites to 09.01.01 to address a Telerik vulnerability, and then had to migrate the site from managed.com to Azure due to manage.com's outage.  After the upgrade, a couple of pages on the site have been uneditable using the pencil icon in the persona bar, although the rest work fine.  We're aware of the workaround of going into content > pages and clicking the pencil icon there, but even then not all of the areas on the page are editable.  For examp...

Hey All, We recently started using DNN. We have several sites on this platform. I'm an admin for a DNN site that running now latest version, but when i did the last upgrade I think I blew up the user registration module that was being utilized. After this, the registration bar was working but the Persona Bar had disappeared. Do you have any tips on ho...

Moving pages from Dev to Prod

Started By  Mark Mac
We are in the middle of an upgrade from 7.3.4 to 9.6.1. We have been using 7.3.4 for years and have been using the simple process of exporting an upgraded page from dev and importing it to prod. I can't seem to figure out how this process works now in 9.6.1. We have existing pages on our prod site that we want to update with what is currently on dev.

Hello DNN Community, Thank you everyone for your outstanding job. I have an issue where I upgraded DNN 9.3.2 to 9.8.0 and experiencing the following issues 1. I had created a custom theme which was working fine prior to the upgrade. However, after the upgrade, I am not able to access Shortcodes, Typography, and access...

Module/PersonaBar Page Load Exceptions After Upgrade

Started By  H. Hugh-Jones
Hello all, I'm in a bit of a catch-22: DNN tech support doesn't provide support for third-party vendors and the vendor indicates it is unrelated to their products.   So thanks in advance for your help.  I've been steadily updating our version of DNN from 8.4.1 up to 9.6.4 (Evoq Content). Up through 9.1.1, Mandeeps Live Accordion/Tabs were working fine.   By 9.6.1, I would get page load exceptions/critical errors when clicking on 'Manage' or 'Settings' in their products, or clicking the 'Activ...
